Customer Reviews

“Everything was explained in great detail.  She went through the entire consultation and the recommended treatment.  She showed how to operate the equipment, what each equipment is used for, and any precautions.  I learned a lot about combination skin, and how careful you need to be with advanced treatments.  At the end of the video she goes over the entire treatment and explains why she choose each procedure, how it benefited the client, and follow up treatment to continue to have the results the client wants to achieve.  This video is full of great information and is well worth watching.  Anyone new in the field would benefit watching this one twice.  Thank you.” Bonnie D.

“Easy to use and I liked the terminology section as an added bonus. The video was current and I felt the instructor was knowledgeable.  She gave lots of information and techniques. I enjoyed the course and its format.  It seemed professional and well put together. The instructor was well informed, even speaking about the pH of the peel...  I would enjoy taking more courses in the future and will suggest others seek you out for CE.” Laura F.

“WOW!! What a great course! I really enjoy Tina as an educator. I loved this course. Not only did she explain how to treat combination aging skin but she also included several devices and gave a complete description of what each device does. She was thorough with explaining the benefits and contraindications. More courses are needed just like this one!!” Renee K.

“The course content, subject and video segments were good. Introduction of different equipment to treat the skin was great. Showing the skin scope results was very good. Thoroughly identifying contraindications was good. Introduction to ingredient benefit in cleanser was great.” Millissa R.

“I enjoyed this course, the videos were good!” Jennifer M.

"I liked the layout of the presentation. I thought it was helpful and organized to break the treatment up into sections. As previously mentioned, the instructor touched upon many important topics that estheticians need to keep in mind or know how to perform with confidence. She mentions Fitzpatrick, a term not often addressed in the spa business, yet one that should be carefully considered when choosing a protocol. The outcomes of one's professional service choices can be greatly affected based on this principle and I was glad that the instructor addressed the topic. She discusses skin type and condition of the skin and the options to treat the condition such as hyperpigmentation, especially when you do not have access to high percentage of hydroquinone. She points out how the suction should glide and appear as you conduct the service. Hopefully, this will help people just using the device to know how the equipment should feel during the service. ...I was glad she explained the difference between lactic and glycolic acids and the benefits of using lactic in this situation. ...I like that she discusses the importance of erythema and knowing when to shut down the peel. I was glad to see the dermaplaning portion segment. I realize this procedure is not often performed, but I find that my clients love the look and feel afterwards. It is a nice exfoliation when you want a more impactful result and better delivery of the acids." Sue L.
