Cosmetic injections have surged in popularity because they are a minimally-invasive and non-surgical treatment to help correct the effect of the aging process and the environment on the face. Facial fillers and Botox are the two most popular injectable options to help treat common facial concerns.

Dermal fillers are used to restore volume to areas of the skin surface, particularly on the face. These fillers can be effective at lessening the appearance of fine wrinkles, crow's feet, nasolabial folds and melomental folds. Dermal fillers are also used to restore volume loss in the back of the hands.

As we age, collagen production decreases and our skin begins to sag, create lines from hyperfunctional muscles, and show signs of damage from the sun, environment, and our lifestyles. Dermal fillers temporarily reverse the resulting lines by smoothing lines, filling wrinkles, improving volume loss and correcting facial asymmetries.

In this aesthetic training course, cosmetic surgeon Dolores Kent, MD, demonstrates how to inject dermal fillers for the cosmetic treatment of:

•    Horizontal forehead lines
•    Glabellar frown lines
•    Crow's feet (lateral canthal lines)
•    Tear trough
•    Nasolabial folds
•    Vertical lip lines
•    Marionette lines
•    Lip definition
•    Lip augmentation
•    Chin lines
•    Mentalis
•    Facial scars
•    Facial asymmetry

In the step-by-step training videos included in this course, Dr. Kent also explains:
